ADAL: Mario Mitrotti – Director (Colombia)

Representing the Alianza de Directores Audiovisuales Latinoamericanos (ADAL) is Colombian film director, Mario Mitrotti.

He has directed 3 feature films; several shorts and documentaries; more than 1,500 commercials and music videos; and more than850 hours of dramatised television. He is also a theater director of several works, the most recent “Medico a Palos” by Moliere with the group Mandrágora.

He has been a film critic in Venezuela in the newspaper LA REPUBLICA with the column TOMA 7 and in the magazine KENA from 1964 to 1967. He has developed his professional activity in Colombia, Venezuela, USA (New York, Hollywood, Miami, Tampa) Brazil, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Ecuador, Argentina, Italy and Spain.

He has won 86 national and international awards in Film and Advertising, is the president of ADAL and since 2014, has been president of the Colombian Society of Audiovisual Directors (DASC).
