DHFR campaign seeks to boost local and European works shown on Croatia National Television
DHFR has launched a campaign to draw attention to Croatia National Television’s continued refusal to respect the minimum quotas of European and national works. The quota, established in the country’s legislation, has been ignored for the past three years.
In response, DHFR created the “I’d like to watch that, HRT says nyet” campaign to support Croatian authors. The goal is to rally international support for 34 films, which were rejected by Croatian National Television despite 370 international and national festivals and 90 awards being attributed to these films.
